This family garden has been evolving since 1984 when enthusiastic and knowledgeable owners Richard and Sarah Cundall moved to Jackson's Wold.
Designed to sit in harmony with the surrounding countryside, the garden is a profusion of colour and scent, with some unusual plants and innovative planting schemes.
Jackson's Wold lies 480 feet above sea level and comprises:
Plants are for sale in the small nursery and light refreshments are available in the Chalk Barn Tea Rooms.
The Chalk Barn Tearoom
The 18th century chalk barn which forms the north side of the walled garden provides the perfect rustic setting for the Tea rooms with views onto the white and red borders of the walled garden, the vine and fig trees of the conservatory and the occasional company of white doves and lavender pekin bantams.
Open whenever the garden is open, the chalk barn tea room serve a selection of homemade cakes an scones, tea and coffee.
