South Facing Garden
This is the most mature area within the garden,
created 22 years ago. However, as with other parts of the garden
it is constantly evolving and only this year a new link to
the Woodland Garden has been
created.
Mature trees, Rosa rugosa, scented Philadelphus sp. provide
structure and year round colour and interest in the borders
surrounding the lawn in front of the house. These are under
planted with many sub-shrubs and herbaceous perennials.
The terrace includes sun-loving plants and a number of original
stone troughs planted with alpines.
